This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 3
Planning your perfect day is an exercise that I believe you should practice at least once a month. I think it helps to keep your goals and vision in line and also helps to keep your why into focus.
Thinking of my perfect day also helps remind me that I deserve happiness and that is what I am working towards. So often we are caught up in the day to day and realize we haven’t done anything for ourselves in over a month.
So my perfect day starts out waking up to no alarm around 7:30am, just as the sun is crisp and the birds are chirping outside my window.
I roll over and kiss my significant other on the forehead and give him a cuddle, I’m always up before him. Then I head out to the living room of our beach villa and make some coffee.
This perfect day starts on the porch of our villa overlooking the ocean waves kissing the shore. I can smell the salty air and feel the sun on my face.
I start out my day by either journaling or just mentally visualizing everything I am grateful for and then I work on whatever education material I have, whether it be a book or a challenge I am in.
Then I check out my to-do list for the week. Is it a big project kind of day or is some housekeeping just needed?
By this time, my love has woken up and we share some coffee and smiles together while we tackle our 2 hours of work for the morning.
It’s about 11:30 and we grab a quick shower and head out into nature for a hike. After our hike we head out to our favorite beach spot to feel the soft sand in our toes and the cool water will ice our sore feet, from hiking.
We spend a perfect beach afternoon together before heading back to the villa for dinner. I crave the fresh seafood that I can smell grilling.
One more evening sit on the porch watching the stars before we call it a night and plan another adventure for tomorrow.
